can't install adobe flash player. can't see youtube videos

 IT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE YOUTUBE VEDEOS due to there is not adobe flash player in ubuntu 12.1 version? what to do? where there is any other softwear for this problem? please sent me the names of that softwear....

You can try to install google chrome in your ubuntu installation which is already having built-in flash.

https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

Otherwise, you can install flash plugin through ubuntu software center (which is actually flash 11.2). Hope it will resolve your query.

Can you please give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'

Open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and give this command

sudo apt-get install -y ubuntu-restricted-extras
