jtv wont engage adobe flash wont open when channel is chosen it used to

i click firefox/jtv/justin tv/entertainment/ and click on my channel choice but then i click to confirm that im over 18 and NOTHING ? ive been doing this for years with no problem on XP Pro and for about 4 weeks on ubuntu now on my duel boot system JTV works fine on XP but ubuntu fails i am very sad about this because im newly impressed and very happy ive found you lot oh lets face it im in love with your awsome OS but if it fails to provide streaming tv i have no further use for it CHEERS FOR YOUR EAR Martyrags

Can you give the output of:

lsb_release -a; uname -a; dpkg -l | egrep 'flash|gnash|swf|spark'
