AMD Chipset upgrade/update

I have 2 motherboards.

MSI B660 Tomahawk Wi-Fi.
Intel 9.
Accepts Linux in any Distro.

MSI X670E Tomahawk Wi-Fi.
AMD Ryzen 9.
Does not accept Linux in any Distro.
*******************************
I just want to be able to boot in to Windows or Linux whenever I want.
Can someone please explain to me why this is so?
I am still a newbie.
