VMware can't install ubuntu-24.04

Attempt multiple installations, including typical and custom installations. Restarting after installation will crash.

Are you installing desktop or server? Did you at least MD5 test the ISO you downloaded (Or use torrents) to verify the ISO was complete and consistent. Did you try switching from UEFI to BIOS as the boot option in VMWare to see if that helps

Can you also expand on "crash". What do you see on the screen? What messages do you see?
