need help with java

i want to play on pogo.com and it keeps telling me that i need to download java. i have sun java on my computer already. it checks out find. i have done all the trouble shotting and still it won't work. i'm not sure what is going on. please can anyone help. i use to windows so liniux is new to me..Please help

sudo aptitude install sun-java6-plugin

type the above lines , in your terminal , with net connection enabled , after that restart your browser if open .
