cant play chess

once i installed ubuntu hardy i added sun java jre run and sun java webbrowser plug in but when i go to pogo games and sighn in i cant play chess now my sun has ubuntu 7.10 gutsy and he installed the same packages but they are sunjava 5 and i can play pogo chess on his so what do i need to do with my ubuntu hardy to get it to play thanks for any help you can give me

you may need to make sure you have selected the correct 'java' to use, as you can have multiple versions installed its required that you select one, you can follow this guide to do that: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java#Choosing%20the%20default%20Java%20to%20use

alternitivly you may have the wrong sun java installed - you may have for example sun-java6 installed whereas your son has sun-java5

so how do i get sun java 5 i tried doing what the page said and i do
have sun java6 but wont let get sunjava5 it says there is no sunjava5 on

hey thank you for your help i figured it out i went to synaptic and applied sun java5 and it worked thanks so much
