too small size error at the partition part of the ubuntu 8.04.1 install

Asked by folmez

i downloaded ubuntu 8.04.1, burnt it on a CD and tried to install it along with my xp.
But at the partitioning screen no matter what i choose
i always got 'too small size' error and that's all.
I am stuck at that step of the installation. The installation
doesn't go any further.

thanks

The minimum sizes are:

swap = 1024 MB (1 GB)
home = Over 2 GB (2000 MB)
root = Over 4 GB (4000 MB)

You can better manually configure this
or have a look at this
