My Nautilis sidebar is missing

Asked by Roy Reese

While shuffling files 07/26/08 the Nautilis sidebar suddenly disappeared. Neither checking sidebar in view or pressing F9 helps. I realize its not necessary but I am puzzled. ubuntu 8.04 fully patched since ut was available with no major problems.

I just have to ask to confirm, have you checked that there is no thick bar at the left or right side inside the window?

Hi Marius

No there were no thick bars, but in checking the mouse pointer turned
into a line hook (best thing I could call it) and I was able to pull the
edge of the screen back from the sidebar.
Thanks for the tip.
