I see, your E partition was not tried to be mounted.

We need to find the name of the partition.
Could you tell us the output of

sudo fdisk -l

?

I think we got it:

Create a directory as a mount point for your E partition:

sudo mkdir /media/E

Add the following lines to your /etc/fstab:

# /dev/sda1
/dev/sda1 /media/E vfat defaults,umask=007,gid=46 0 1

(I left the group ids like they were for the other partition)
Now reboot or mount it: sudo mount /dev/sda1

You now should see the contents of E under /media/E

If Windows partitions are not mountable: mind that you have to properly shut down (not just suspend) Windows to access them. I hope this helps.

Rahul,

From above input provided by you by executing " sudo fdisk -l" command, its clear that your system contains two Windows Fat32 partitions.

/dev/sda1 * 1 663 5325516 b W95 FAT32
/dev/sda5 1334 7296 47897766 b W95 FAT32

As you are telling they are C and E drive. I cant distinguish between these two which is C and which is E.

So, I will give procedure how to mount fat32 partitions into your linux just try it out.

1. mkdir /media/Edrive
2. mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /media/Edrive ( This may contain either C or E drive content )
3. mkdir /media/Cdrive
4. mount -t vfat /dev/sda5 /media/Cdrive ( This may contain either C or E drive content )

Once this is done, it can be automated as stated by Jonas Eberle by editing /etc/fstab by logging in as root into your pc . Thanks Jonas.
