i have no internet connection

I have no internet connection in my home then how i install the extra application .i can download that file from cafe then i install it .if yes pls tel me how and from which site i get it

sudo apt-get install xmms

you'll feel right at home.

.exe file? If so, forget it (for now).

Helleo,

You may use WINE to run Winamp or any other windows programs under Ubuntu. (http://www.winehq.org/).
XMMS is an application made to look like Winamp. (http://www.xmms.org/).

You really want to torment a new user with wine configuration, Rafik?

xmms is a winamp clone... he'll be right at home with it.

If you want a headache as a new user, mess around with wine first thing.
