How to report bugs using Natty Narwhal??

Asked by Richard Presley

The instructions for filing a bug report do not map to Natty Narwhal. I am not able to give more information regarding the inability to enable multiple monitors since the instructions on reporting a bug do not relate to the new release. Can anyone help me understand how to give better information to the people working on bugs? Maybe someone could update the bug reporting instruction set to include Natty Narwhal specific tools?

If your issue is with dual monitors then run:

ubuntu-bug xorg

Before reporting a bug you may search if there is already one reported and also search the web for solutions.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

There're lots of known bugs about multimonitor setups. Existing bugs can be confirmed, if your issue isn't met report a new one.
Examples.
