cpu 100% and ehci_hcd error messages in dmesg
I have been using Feisty for the last 6 months and I'm loving it. However, during the last couple of days, the CPU usage has shot up to 100% and khubd is using about 90% of the CPU. I tried restarting the system (power off/on) and even applied all the updates (including kernel) and still the CPU usage is 100%.
The following message is getting repeated over and over again in dmesg output.
[ 2379.977207] hub 3-0:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -32)
[ 2379.981096] ehci_hcd 0000:00:13.2: port 6 resume error -110
Here is the top and uname output.

I have temporarily disabled USB 2.0 using "sudo modprobe -r ehci_hcd" and added the module to the blacklist, but does any one know if there is a permanent fix available for this problem.
Thanks,
venkat
