Is Linux garbage ?

Linux is not better. Just a different philosophy and different advantages/disadvantages.
I'm fine with people using Windows or OSX if that's what they need. But I don't see the point in testing 30 differents Linux before coming here to explain that it's garbage. I'm not feeling comfortable with using Windows XP, I'm not spending my time on Microsoft forum to explain that it sucks. That's kindergarten behavior...

well the truth hurt's don't it ? and kindergarden behavior is feeling like your being personally attacked and have to defend a system''I am just saying I am thouroghly pissed off with it and when I say I tried 3o different versions it means over 20 years not one after the other.

The truth hurts? :) You are the one spending time here to complain about something you try again and again and again and you don't like it. Who is loosing his time? Use Windows 7 ! Or OSX ! I have absolutely no problem with that. But to summarize "professional OS manufacturer" = good, Linux = garbage is just very childish and dualist.

Why are you pissed off with it?

Just saying "Linux is garbage" is like telling "You are a moron"

But if someone says "You are a moron because you are kissing your sister", you may stop kissing your sister, or explain that she is not your sister, and that will make you a better person.

Similarly, if you say "Linux is garbage because of x reason", the developers may either fix the problem or explain that it is not within their control, and that will make linux a better OS.

Hope you have reasons for hating linux, and we are eager to know them.
