What CPU does it have?

If its an intel one the grab the 32bit ISO, MD5 test it, burn it slowly, boot to the new CD, check the CD for defects then install:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/lucid/ubuntu-10.04.1-desktop-i386.iso
MD5: 9a95ed6f6ec38fb58c446dba1add6a08

If it's a PPC chip you can use this ISO and use the same method:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/lucid/release/ubuntu-10.04-desktop-powerpc.iso
MD5: 11886fb3475c93a08cbc7ac0f14e2270

Thanks

Do you want to wipe out previous OS or make a dual boot ?
It looks not so easy and few people did it, so you will have not lot of help.
I advise you to use Google a lot before doing it.
It exists some web sites on the subject.

Can you help with this problem?
