PPA exceeded its space

Asked by Pau Garcia Quiles

I have received this message:

"PPA exceeded its size limit (5283.00 of 5120.00 MiB). Ask a question in https://answers.launchpad.net/soyuz/ if you need more space."

Could you please enlarge my p... pa ? :-)

Thanks

Why is your PPA so large?

Because, for the Ubuntu version I'm using at the moment, I backport:
- many packages from Ubuntu-next-version
- many packages from Debian
- or even package upstream versions not yet in Debian or Ubuntu

For instance: alsa, cmake, gstreamer, farsight, apache, vim, doxygen, nagios, rails, qt, gtk, etc

If you delete the Feisty packages (Feisty is obsolete) does that give you the space you need?

@Julian:
Thanks for the suggestion. I have deleted the Feisty packages but I'm still quite tight on space. When I start building Intrepid versions of the post-Intrepid packages and post-Jaunty packages which are available for Hardy now from my PPA, I'll exhaust my PPA again :-(

Hey Pau,
have increased your limit to 6Gb.
If you bounce off that, give us a yell and I'll increase again.

Cheers!
