Icon titles are overstruck (illegible)

I downloaded UNR onto a usb flash drive last night and then booted my Acer Aspire AOA150 from the flash. When I click an icon on the opening desktop (for instance "Accessories") and the new desktop opens, many of the icon titles (but not all) have their titles appearing overstruck (as if there are two lines of printing on top of each other) making the names of the icons illegible. Any idea what the problem is?

Never mind...I'm back home and started up my Acer and the display is correct now. No idea what might have happened but I'll "close" this. Thanks anyway.
