How do I manually add an app to one of the launcher areas?

Asked by Mjpatey

I just installed a Windows app under Wine, and would like to create a launcher for it in one of the launcher areas (in this case, the Graphics section). I can't figure out how to create a launcher, since there's no Desktop to right-click and "create launchr".

Anybody know how to make a launcher like this?

Thanks in advance!

You can add items to the Netbook Remix launcher by going to System > Main Menu. Click Graphics in the left pane, then New Item on the right. Give the new menu entry a Name, and enter wine path/to/whatever.exe for the Command.

Marc, thank you! I looked for "Main Menu" or something similar, but never saw it because of scrolling issues with my touchpad... it's very sensitive in this particular context, and I must have been scrolling right past the Main Menu item. I missed it a few times just now, in fact.

Problem solved. Thanks!
