How can I get the old minimize to tray behaviour back?

In an older version of Me TV, when I closed the window, the programm was closed if no recording was scheduled and minimized to the tray if there was one. In version 0.7.16 it is either minimized to the tray all the time or closed every time depending on the settings. How can I get the old behaviour back?

There's an option in the preferences dialog that gets you most of the way there, I think.

In the preferences I only find "Show a status icon in the notification area". If I check the box, Me TV will _always_ be minimized to the tray. I'd like it to close totally if no recording is scheduled.

If that doesn't suit your needs then I guess that there is no way then.
