Dependencies not met

Take a look at the dependency for 1.3.6 in synaptic and you should then have
all needed to build...

took a while but finally got all the dependencies correct however upon ./configure i get this error:

error: po/Makefile.in.in was not created by intltoolize.

Any ideas

Sorry Alex, very busy week. Scott, I didn't think that synaptic tells you the development dependencies, does it? Either way, congratulations Alex for working it out.

Now, I can confirm that I get the same result as you when using the beta tarball and I will rectify that as soon as possible (within a day). For now, you can use `bzr branch lp:me-tv` to get the latest source. I'm quite sure that this will compile.

I'm still having this problem. I have tried to install all the packages I can find (via apt-get) but still get the following message:

It's asking you to install the *build* dependencies, these are different to the other dependencies even though they share a similar name. On ubuntu/debian this is usually achieved by installing the -dev packages.

It's a bit dated but this will get you most of the way there,
