Please delete my project Memolis

Asked by Engleek

I created a project page for Memolis recently, and only just discovered the project group functionality, which would greatly improve the organisation of this project, which in fact has several clients and a server, each a sub-project of Memolis.

I'm about to apply for a project group, but I understand that my Memolis project page must first be removed.

Sorry for the inconvenience :(

2009-09-24 allenap - Dear LOSA, please can you rename the "memolis" project to, say, "memolis-defunct" and deactivate it. Please do not create an alias; the "memolis" namespace is needed to create a project group.

Hi,

I see you've registered several Memolis projects, but I guess you mean
the following project:

  Memolis: A "Memory Prosthesis" <https://launchpad.net/memolis>

Please confirm if that is correct.

What we'll do then is:

 * Rename that project (we never delete projects) to something like
   "memolis-defunct".

 * Deactivate it, which hides it from everyone except you and the
   Launchpad administrators,

 * Create a memolis project group, and assign ownership to you.

 * You can then edit each sub-project to be "Part of:" the new project
   group.

Gavin.

Hi again,

Confirmed, the project you mentionned:

    Memolis: A "Memory Prosthesis" <https://launchpad.net/memolis>

is the project I want removed.

Thanks very much for your help, I wasn't expecting such a speedy response :)
