build fails - no logs avail

Asked by Sampsa Riikonen

Hi,

(a) What do you make out of this?

https://launchpad.net/~sampsa-riikonen/+archive/ubuntu/valkka/+build/26459567

It fails without no logs

(b) Then the same build, but for arm:

https://launchpad.net/~sampsa-riikonen/+archive/ubuntu/valkka/+build/26459565

Logs say:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
sbuild-build-depends-main-dummy : Depends: i965-va-driver but it is not installable

I guess there's no "i965-va-driver" for arm?

Not sure if (a) and (b) are related in any way..?

Is (a) just a momentarily infrastructure failure? Or does this have something to do with the va-api dependencies? (earlier was building everything ok, without them).

Hi Sampsa

We had some infrastructure issues on the day this build was started and now they have been resolved. Can you retry this build and let us know if this issue still happens?

According to https://packages.ubuntu.com/focal/i965-va-driver, this package is only available on i386 and amd64 because it contains the drivers for Intel hardware which are not relevant on ARM platforms. So you will have to fix the build dependencies for your package accordingly.
