Launchpad itself

not able to self-assign a bug

I want to contribute to openstack repository by solving few bugs.
However , when i select any bug with assignee -- None , I am still not able to self -assign it to myself .
Please suggest

Unable to add any bug to myself.
Although the Assigned to status set as "Unassigned". But I am unable to add myself as assignee.

Note: The "pen" symbol is missing for me to assignee the bug.

Hello Guruprasad,

I can not add myself as assignee to any of the bugs on launchpad.

For example:
https://bugs.qastaging.launchpad.net/test12345678/+bug/1743371
https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/2009831
https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/2024621

Unable to find the assign "pen" symbol button for any of the above bugs.

Please report your issue as a separate question with all the relevant details like the ones mentioned in the comment, like I requested previously.
