Launchpad itself

Cannot login to wiki with Launchpad account

When I attempt to login at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UserPreferences it tells me my password is wrong, even though I can login to Launchpad with the same email / pswd.

When I click on 'Mail me my account data' at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UserPreferences, it then tells me to 'Please use Launchpad's forgotten password page instead.'. So I use that and reset my password. I still cannot login to wiki but can login to Launchpad.

Reading other support requests, it looks like my 'MoinMoin' wiki account may be disabled. Could someone with admin privilege please take a look?

Hi David,

I've asked Matt Nuzum to re-enable your wiki account. Can you try again and see if it works?

If that doesn't work you might be experiencing a different issue.

a) did you previously used the option "disable your account forever" in the UserPreferences?

b) have cookies disabled?

Hi Diogo,

I've tried again - same problem. I also tried resetting password again - still cannot login.

a) I may have done. I have vague memory of wanting to change something in my account, not being able to and 'playing' with settings.

b) cookies are enabled

Matsubara, have you noticed that this isn't the regular wiki, but instead the help.ubuntu.com wiki?

Thanks Kiko. I've asked Matt Nuzum to check the help.ubuntu.com wiki config file and that seems to be the cause. The account has now been re-enabled in the correct config file.

David, could you please try again?
