Launchpad DIfference between Distrobution and Project

I'm looking for the different features in Launchpad between being a distrobution and being a project. Currently Mythbuntu is a project on Launchpad. While this is currently fine, I am wondering if we are missing some features on Launchpad that could prove useful. I have searched, but AFAIK the question has not been asked. Mythbuntu is a combination of Ubuntu and MythTV. Mythbuntu's page can be found here https://launchpad.net/mythbuntu/
