Cannot upload to PPA

I've tried uploading the source package, and it gets rejected with the following error:

Not permitted to upload to the RELEASE pocket in a series in the 'CURRENT' state.

I'm guessing you forgot to include your ppa's name when using dput? What was the dput command that you used?

The error indicates that you're trying to upload to Ubuntu, not your PPA. As
Michael says, check your dput command and config.
