Setting report to status 'Confirmed' as there have been two other independent reports of copy&paste stopping to work on Snow Leopard (besides the known bitmap copy issue):

This is most likely an upstream issue in Xquartz, but it needs to be investigate on Inkscape's side as well IMHO.
