How do I get Dropbox to work with Gufw? Ubuntu 20.04.2.0-desktop-amd64

Asked by John Diamond

I have [Incoming]: Deny and [Outgoing]: Allow. I have done several searches and none have told me what rule (if any) and/or what applications I need to allow for Dropbox to function correctly. Specifically, my files are not syncing.

I know I'm not alone having this problem. I have seen several web posts stating this problem. However, I have seen none with a solution.

Thank you so much for your help. :)

JD.

Hi,
Did you add the Dropbox profile?
If not, please, try these other ports and give me feedback for update thtat
profile: Dropbox primarily uses ports TCP 80 and TCP 443. It also uses TCP
Port 7600 and TCP 17603 for the web-based “Open” button, and TCP Port 17500
for the LAN Sync feature
Thanks in advance!
