There's an empty if statement generated from the memtest86+ script

> if [ "${grub_platform}" == "pc" ]; then

This happens when you modify or remove the memtest entry. It happens only on specific distributions. It's a known bug but hard to fix.

Quickfix for you:
 - Click View -> Show placeholders
 - search for an entry named "(script code)" which is from script "memtest86+"
 - remove this entry

Then it should save successfully.

Can you help with this problem?
