unable to branch lp:parrot

Bug Description

I tried downloading lp:parrot into a shared repo but it fails at around 147088KiB.
It just hangs at that point so I have to kill it (^C).

This is with bzr 2.1, bzr-svn 1.0.2 on ubuntu 9.10

[parrot-repo]% time bzr -Dhpss branch lp:parrot trunk
bzr: interrupted

This is probably a duplicate of bug #526825. It isn't hung, the server is just taking a long time to generate a response.
