Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

I have dual monitor setup here. If I click Xchat icon in tray it first hides the window as expected. When I click it again it always re-appears on the first screen, even if it was on the second one before it was hidden.

To reproduce:
1. Open up Xchat
2. Drag and move it to your second monitor.
3. Click Xchat icon in tray to hide it.
4. Click it again to show it. It shows on the first monitor.

Thanks for the report, it has been some time without any response or feedback in this bug report and we are wondering if this is still an issue for you with the latest release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal, May you please test with that version and comment back if you're still having or not the issue? Please have a look at http://www.ubuntu.com/download to know how to install that version. Thanks in advance.

In the past I had troubles with xchat-gnome not remembering its screen location on startup, but now (as of natty) it seems to be working fine.

Since there's not been comment from the original reporter in a couple years, I'm going to go ahead and assume the original problem has long since been solved.
