Bug 287248 describes a problem with +mailing-list-subscribers showing people who aren't team members. Additional comments implicated another problem, where someone who was not a member of a team was still getting team mailing lists. After preliminary analysis, we determined that these are really two different problems, so this bug addresses only the latter
What we know so far: the getSubscribedAddresses() query is returning the right data. The user ~warp10 does not get included in the ~mythbuntu-documentation membership data. This was verified by making the same XMLRPC call that Mailman's XMLRPCRunner does.
For some reason though, the Mailman mailing list is not updating. We verified this by running bin/list_members on that team name and finding <email address hidden> in the list.
Unfortunately, we do not have enough information in the log files to do further analysis. The first thing to do is cowboy in a patch (probably for staging) and watch the logs.
Branch to increase logging landed and cp'd onto staging. Now we need to wait a bit for the log files to collect data and be sync'd to devpad.
