Linux Lite printer driver is ok, shows printing complete but doesn't print

Asked by Kara

Hello dear Ubuntu community,

I am a bit confused with the Linux Lite, because I installed the OS, and then the driver for the Ricoh SP 150SU seems to work, it shows in the menu of the printers, its active everything seems to work fine, but then when I click print it just says complete but nothing works , no printing at all.

What I did so far:

So I tried to install the CUPS, but couldn't find it for the specified printer. I installed recommended options.
I restarted the printer, my netbook, everything. but still nothing.
I also installed WINE and then installed the Ricoh tool for printing which works fine with my Windows laptop, but on my Linux Lite it doesn't work, it says the file can't be executed.

I need to print stuff at the office, this is my office netbook. I am so desparate to make it work. Please help me out.

My netbook is: Toshiba mini NB505, my os is Linux Lite,

This is offtopic here. This website is for official, Canonical, issues of Ubuntu.

You would be better to ask the Linux Lite Forums >>> https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/

This is Ubuntu support. You aren't using Ubuntu.

None of the "Ubuntu based" distributions are supported by the Ubuntu community

Can you help with this problem?
