duplex printing gone for Samsung using 12.10

With previous versions of Ubuntu duplex printing worked on my Samsung ML 3051 ND printer. Since upgrading to 12.10 duplex printing does not work on this printer used as a network printer.

If you remove then readd the printer, is it ok?
If you run Quantal from liveCD, does it work as expected?

Removal and readd does not fix the problem.
What is Quantal?

Its the codename of Ubuntu 12.10
